I am in photography heaven!!! Bought a new camera and in LOVE :)

I gave myself a HUGE present yesterday and bought a Nikon D700 with an amazing lens (24-70/2.8). I have been saving up for it awhile and have been lusting after it for even longer and with my wonderful husbands support ran out and bought it yesterday! SQUEAL!!!!!! So excited!!! It is an AMAZING camera and I know him (yup its a him!) and I will be friends for a long long time! I am a bit sad to jump ship on pentax, my K20 was good to me, but unfortunately just not good enough. The Nikon D700 is a full frame camera and for all those non-photog folks, that means I can go high high high on my ISO with very little grain and therefore use my camera in a lot lower lighting situations. My new lens is sooo sharp and the color and clarity is to.die.for! Anyway, the truth is in the pudding.......here are my first shots with my new baby :)

This is my sister-in-law's beautiful family. The genes in my hubby's family are awesome, hopefully that means when I have kids they are destined to be beautiful ;)
Although, I just got married to Jared I have been a part of this family for a long time and have watched these kids grow into the gorgeous beings that they are, actually in fact I was in the delivery room to watch Mr. C make his grand entrance into the world almost 5 years ago. These kids are very special to me and I am very proud of the wonderful kids they have become. The first time I met Miss P she was only 18 mths old and Miss C was in utero, it is unreal to me how time flies and now these "kids" are growing up to be young woman! Yikes I feel OLD!!
